SCOPE: The Bureau of the Comptroller and Global Financial Services (CGFS)’ functional strategy strives to provide an accountable and efficient financial management platform that furthers the Department’s global mission. It includes Strategic Objective 3.1: Enhance productive interagency engagement in and understanding of the International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS) platform and opportunities to provide shared services. To that end, CGFS/ICASS Service Center supports an effective overseas management platform for all USG foreign policy interests. A fair and transparent distribution of shared support costs among them requires that interagency governance and oversight structures are established and maintained through the Department’s ICASS system. It requires extensive liaison and coordination, bringing together service providers and customer agencies to make cooperative decisions on funding levels, and reach agreement about policies that govern which costs are shared, how they are shared, and by whom. The purpose of this task order is to provide an Administrative Assistant to fulfill the following requirements. Assist ICASS in coordinating all subordinate offices administrative activities, maintain task and project activity and ensure that it is reported in a timely manner, performs logistics planning for meetings, conferences and training sessions and other duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a U.S Citizen
- This position will require an active Secret Clearance.
- Education: Masters or Bachelor’s with 3 years’ experience or 9-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Native fluency in English.
- Strong (written and oral) communication and organizational skills required.
- Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented required.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders of different backgrounds required.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in a politically sensitive environment required.
- Ability to work well with others and productively under pressure required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform office managerial duties as required to support the office of International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS), including recording time and attendance.
- Manages day to day input and editing of documents on ICASS SharePoint sites.
- Provides briefing materials and draft reports for approval and assists in preparing analytical reports for use by decision makers using tools such as the ICASS Global Database and Excel export features.
- Provides back-up support for the ICASS Administrative Specialist.
DECISION MAKING/JUDGEMENT: This position involves projects and/or assignments requiring considerable decision-making authority regarding procedures, processes, plans, and schedules. Ability to work independently or in a team setting is necessary.
