Events Coordinator and Community Manager Job at Symply Done

We're seeking a motivated, reliable, and charismatic Events / Community Manager to help keep our members socially engaged throughout the calendar year. This position is PART TIME, specifically for 5 hrs of work per week.
Candidate Criteria
- A positive, engaging attitude is a must. You’re the life of the party and can have fun whether or not it’s three people or thirty people.
- Organized and proactive.
- Local to the Raleigh - Durham area.
- Able to attend bi-weekly events on a regular basis with some flexibility.
- Previous experience in the hospitality, entertainment, sales, or service industries are a plus.
Responsibilities include
- Managing social media accounts on Twitter / Facebook / Instagram / LinkedIn on multiple platforms, including creating basic content calendars and conducting membership spotlights.
- Creating and managing newsletters campaigns within MailChimp.
- Working with venues to secure a meeting space, socializing events across our social media channels, and personally inviting our membership to attend membership meetings.
- Hosting and reception duties. Ensuring meeting attendees are engaged, motivated, and excited throughout our event..
- Serve as an extra set of hands in the planning and execution of our annual Awards ceremonies.
