JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for determining all costs of materials, outside and inside process operations to arrive at a total manufacturing cost and suggested selling price for all of the division's products.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Determine tooling and fixturing necessary for the manufacture of the products.

  • Determine lead time and costs for same. Review gaging methods and cost/lead time for new gaging and inspection techniques.
  • Communicate with internal support groups as well as external suppliers to define technical and process requirements for quoted products.
  • Assist Product Engineering in Customer and Industry standard specification review/implementation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in mechanical or industrial Engineering preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Well organized and able to work in a fast paced, time restricted manufacturing environment effectively and efficiently
  • Experienced in defining process sequences in metal turning, milling, grinding, heat treating, forming and stamping for Aerospace alloys and polymer composites is required.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Products (Word and Power Point)
  • Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
