ER CLINICAL SUPERVISOR Job at Unity Health
Education: Current Arkansas Licensure as a Registered Nurse. Training and Experience: Two to five years of clinical experience with expertise in clinical area. Demonstrated leadership abilities and good communication skills. ACLS, CPR certified. Desirable and knowledgeable in nursing orientation/education. Experience as nursing supervisor. Job Knowledge: Working knowledge of clinical nursing practice. Basic skill in management of human resource, staffing, nursing education, nursing orientation. Basic knowledge of supervisory responsibilities. DESCRIPTION: Accountable for overall quality of patient care delivered. Responsible for providing leadership and direction to nursing staff. Function as nurse manager in her absence. Directs the development of orientees. Job Hazards: Minimal degree of contracting disease if proper technique is followed. Accidental hazards are almost nil if policies and procedures are followed and safety precautions in the hospital are observed.
