Job Description:

Autumn's Gate is seeking driven, passionate individuals to join our team of Horseback Riding Instructors. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for introducing the joy of horseback riding to children and adults alike, fostering a safe, engaging, and lively learning environment.

You will oversee and conduct riding lessons for intermediate and advanced riders.

Responsibilities may also include:

- ensuring lessons and visitors are engaging in safe behavior and abiding by the "Barn Rules"

- observe the health and behavior of active lesson horses and assist in the facilitation of training and care

- assist with the general training of lesson horses to ensure they are as safe and productive as possible

- assist with the procedure of prepping lesson horses if needed

- assist in continually developing and improving the curriculum

- assist in creating and helping to improve horseback riding events

- assist with scheduling, updating student records, and misc. lesson admin stuff

- making sure EVERYONE HAS FUN!

In addition to teaching, we encourage our Horseback Riding Instructors to help develop and enhance our curriculum continually. Moreover, you will be tasked with creating and improving our riding program, adding your unique flair to our farm's many offerings. Along with these responsibilities, you will also assist with scheduling, updating student records, and general lesson admin tasks.

Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Though listed as Part Time, more hours or full-time status may be possible depending on your skill set and availability.
