Entry Level Architect Job at Thompson Engineering
Meyer Engineers, Ltd. a Metairie architecture and engineering firm, seeks entry level graduate architect with a degree from a university certified by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). This is an entry level position. Must be proficient Auto CAD, Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in Revit a plus but not required. Must have good writing and verbal communication skills, a good business demeanor and good problem-solving ability. Must be self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a degree in Architecture from a university certified by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB)
- Must be proficient in Auto CAD
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in Revit is a plus
- The ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, both orally, graphically and in writing.
Physical Requirements
- Must be willing to work flexible schedules and overtime if required.
- Ability to work in the field or outside, able to bend, stoop, climb and walk on uneven terrain and pavements, concrete, grass, dirt and gravel.
