English Curriculum Developer Job at Brainster Math
Brainster Learning currently provides math enrichment for children in grades K to 10. We are looking to expand our offering to English reading and writing for students in grades K to 8.
We are looking for experienced english teachers and curriculum designers to join our team. Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in designing and teaching english language curriculum to students in the elementary and middle school. We prefer candidates with at least a postgraduate degree in English literature or teaching. This is a high impact role as you will be creating a curriculum from scratch with minimal supervision. We are looking for self starters that want to make an impact and improve learning outcomes for our students.
The emphasis is on creating interesting and engaging content that do the following:
- Improve reading and writing abilities to above grade level
- Develop world knowledge through fiction and non-fiction essays and passages
- Foster curiosity and interest in young children towards reading and writing
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
