Engineering Manager Job at Precision Metal Products, Inc
Position Summary
A well-established growing company and industry leader is looking for an experienced and qualified mechanical engineer with drive and motivation to be a leader in the design and integration of automated processes, assembly machine builds and much more. This individual will be responsible for the design of machines, project quoting and budgeting, and cost / savings analysis.
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for a minimum of one engineering assistant and be expected to work very closely with other employees, managers, and senior management from the start of a project to the very end!
This individual must be willing to share their knowledge to aide in the growth of others in the department.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years manufacturing experience
- 3-5 years in management experience
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Advanced knowledge in electrical automation
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical concepts
- General knowledge of other disciplines including but not limited to:
- Pneumatics
- Hydraulics
- Movement
- Robotics
- Project management
- Ability to quote projects
- Establish timeline and budget for projects
- Maintain timeline and coordinate efforts with management and other employees involved in the project.
- Accountable for reliability of manufacturing process and workflow.
Compensation:
Individual can be expected to receive competitive salary along with a very competitive compensation package to include great health care, annual bonus, profit sharing / 401K.
