Summary:
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Sitting, walking, standing, bending at the neck, bending at the waist, twisting at the neck and waist, repetitive use of hands, simple grasping, power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling, reaching above and below the shoulder, carrying/lifting up to 50 lbs.
PPE REQUIREMENTS
Salary may vary based on experience. Min: USD $18.05/Yr. Range: USD $20.50/Yr.
Responsible for providing: Electrical assemblies or sub-assemblies to support Cambro’s electrical type product lines. Individuals in this position will also provide service to these same items at Cambro.
Essential Functions:
- Fabricates sub-assemblies consisting of electrical components, wiring and mechanical devices from drawings or training.
- Runs tests and evaluates results on units built in-house.
- Evaluates and runs tests when directed on electrical assemblies built by an outside supplier.
- Troubleshoots and repairs items built in-house and supplied by others.
- Maintains standard component inventory used to build electrical sub-assemblies.
- Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
- Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.
- Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
- Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.
- Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects.
- Follow all department quality standards/criteria. Raise concerns and issues to immediate manager.
- Able to understand and demonstrate Cambro company culture, display company core values (Safety, Quality, Respect, and Service).
- Understands department’s key performance indicators and contributes to achieve these goals both individually and as a team.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must participate with maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Must participate in scheduled inventory counts.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, remain flexible and open to possible schedule changes in order to meet business needs.

- Steel-toe slip-resistant shoe
- Hearing protection (e.g. ear plugs, ear muffs)
- Face shields
- Face covering (mask) in accordance with company policy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Education and/or Experience: High School+ / 1-3 years of experience in same or similar field
- Language skills: Some English
- Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning ability/Communication both verbal & written: Ability to apply a common sense understanding, to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. The ability to deal with problems, involving several concrete variables, in standardized situations for trouble-shooting Cambro Electrical products.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Forklift license and must pass the OSHA 715 Electrical safety basics test before working in the department.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education and/or Experience: At least 1 year related experience
- Language skills: English
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: OSHA 715 passing score (can be done after hire)
