Here is some of what you can expect from being a Donor Service Tech with us:

• You will provide quality testing, collection and processing for whole blood donors, apheresis donors and therapeutic whole blood phlebotomy in compliance with CAP, JCAHO, OSHA, AABB, FDA and CLIA Standards
• You will function within the philosophy, policies and procedure of Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, and represent the hospital within and outside the organization
• You will have a thorough understanding and application of apheresis platelet collection and whole blood collection
• You will continuously strive to improve through formal and informal education
• You will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as needed

Qualifications you will need for this role:

• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• High school diploma or better
• Experience in apheresis and whole blood donor collection is desired
• Must have excellent phlebotomy, customer service and communication skills

• Basic computer skills needed.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
