ROLE: Dog Walker / Pet Sitter (Bike Route!)

ABOUT US:

Since 1996, Out-U-Go! has been Chicagoland’s premier Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Service. Over that time we’ve walked more the 2,000,000 pups. We’re made up of a group of upbeat and supportive humans who believe that pets are people, too.

DOG WALKER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Days - Monday thru Friday
• Hours - Available 10am-4pm (hours will likely total 20-25 hours per week)
• Walks / Day – Typically you’ll visit about 5 to 7 dogs per day
• Visits - Each visit, you’ll walk with the dog(s), play with them, sometimes serve a meal or medication, and always provide lots of love & scratches. Occasionally there are kitty and critter visits, too!

OUT-U-GO! TRAINING & SUPPORT:

• Office Team - Our experienced office team is always available to help and support you during all of your visits
• Dog Walk University – All new staff on our team are trained at our very own Dog Walk U. It's our classroom training where you’ll learn all the basics about providing awesome dog walking. This training is currently virtual.
• Field Training - All new dog walkers are mentored by our senior sitters for multiple days while out visiting pups in the field

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

• Must Love Dogs
• Smart Phone with Data - for checking in & out of visits
• Bike - for getting to & from visits (public transit okay if familiar with options and can move at a timely pace)
• Positive Attitude
• Location (must live within 10 miles of walking routes)
