Dog Bather Wanted! Job at Fur Fighters Grooming
Fur Fighters Grooming is a new company formed as a direct result of the pandemic in mid 2020. When the salons closed, we were able to offer pop-up grooming events at apartment complexes all over King County. Currently, Fur Fighters regularly services 27 apartment communities and now offers mobile grooming. We are expanding quickly, and are looking for awesome people to add to the team!
Our mission is to provide “Dog Hero Services” for all our clients. We work for the benefit of all dogs, not only focusing on the look, but the health and well being of our furry best friends. We also run regular pet food drives and nail trim donation events for those groomers looking to give back to their community.

Bather Position Requirements:
- Experience working with animals
- Able to lift heavy dogs safely if needed
- Able to work independently
- Excellent customer service communication skills
- Able to work with others in a fast paced environment
- Reliable transportation
- Intrest in learning to groom a plus!

**WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN! There is a serious lack of groomers in the area and too many dogs due to the COVID puppy boom. For the right candidate, we are willing to train you in basic grooming and haircutting techniques. Promotion to the title of "groomer" will be based on progress seen and time spent improving your newly learned skills!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
