Lakeside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full time Director of Social Services. The Director of Social Services oversees the overall operation of the Resident and Family Services Department; organizes and plans Social Service Programs for residents and patients based on their individualized needs within the facility; coordinates activities with the community, outside facilities and agencies that can provide economic, psychological, and medical assistance; and helps the resident, patient, staff, and families with issues that impacts or prevents adjustment or any other aspect of the resident’s quality of life. - Must have Bachelor of Science degree in social work or related field
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate accurately and precisely to patients and family members
- Must have long term care experience
