We are currently seeking a Director of Sales, Middle East and North Africa to join our growing organization.
JOB SUMMARY:
The role will:
- Manage and maintain contacts with our key partners, distributors, agents, dealers and key accounts in MENA.
- Maintain an appropriate overview of the performance of each of the distributors, negotiating contract terms and conditions, assessing new and existing partners and monitoring their performance improvement plans.
- Exceed revenue and margin targets and manage the expense budget.
- Work closely with the AP ME team, finance, marketing, legal and compliance functions.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of a performance management system for all agency and distributor countries
- Carrying out of performance reviews with all distributors and agreeing robust plans for success
- Supporting distributors with all operational matters and key issues
- Assisting distributors with sales closure within the top key accounts in each country of MENA
- Acting as the next level of escalation for Distributor issues
- Coordination of requests and issues with the various functions of the company to increase sales and market share penetration.
- Provision of reports, sales and expense forecasts as needed.
- Analysis and negotiation of contractual issues for each country distributor/s
- Identification of potential business risks for each country and putting in place actions to mitigate.
- Continuously optimize Distributor performance in countries of MENA
- Conduct of data and statistical analysis with the current market trends in MENA to identify business opportunities that would generate more revenue and increase profitability.
WHO YOU ARE
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any equivalent degree.
- You have a proven track record in a similar Distributor Management role as well as management responsibilities in the Middle East and North Africa, preferably in the fitness industry.
- You possess and can demonstrate strong negotiation, selling and business skills as well as leadership and communication skills.
- You have a proven ability to multitask and to perform under pressure.
- You have a genuine desire to develop others.
- You’ve proven experience in carrying out business in MENA countries.
- You are either fluent in English communication both verbal and written or have the capability to be trained in it. Speaking Arabic or a language within the market area would also be beneficial.
- You are able and willing to travel within the area at least twice a quarter.
