Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of day to day operations of the Pharmacy ensuring that operations are in accordance with the professional standards and practices established by the Company and Pharmacy best practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Oversee operations of Wells Dyersburg, TN location.

· Provide guidance as to course action of operating by staff.

· Plan production and employee scheduling, pharmacy compliance with SOP’s and cGMP practices.

· Administer operational and administrative policies, standards and practices.

· Hire, monitor and terminate employees as necessary with VP of Operations approval

· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements following local, state, and federal laws regarding the profession of pharmacy practice.

· Regularly communicate with all staff and lead meetings.

· Coordinate operations and monitor performance of the pharmacy and clinical staff.

· Monitoring various quality management processes to ensure highest level of patient safety including root cause analysis, CAPA and product impact assessments.

· Coordinate and maintain facility equipment in accordance with Company’s SOP’s, policies, cGMP and USP standards

· Establish inventory management system to include finished products and raw materials

· Supervise and audit daily cleaning of all ISO environments

· Other duties that may be assigned from time to time or common for your position.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; maintaining schedules, approving timesheets and time off requestsappraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.

Clear and active pharmacy license issued by the State of Tennessee Board of Pharmacy.

Have at minimum four (4) years of management or better experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Tennessee

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
