Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing advanced technical direction and managing all IT initiatives, systems, teams, and personnel related to Grid Operations, SCADA, Energy Management Systems (EMS), Outage Management Systems (OMS), Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), and Asset Management.
• Provide long and short-term Operational Technology strategies, including 5-year roadmap and annual financial plans.

· Oversee projects to support electric operations, including management of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system planning, implementation, and operation.

· Ensure 24/7 safe and reliable operations of key operational technology (SCADA, OMS, EMS, ADMS) and determine key SLAs.

• Provide guidance and recommendations to OT Team services and performance.
• Drive functional consistency, process standardization and operational excellence across the OT department.
• Build relationships and engage key stakeholders in cross-functional projects and departments.
• Define, track and report meaningful OT metrics.

· Ensure execution of firm enterprise and IT policies, including compliance with NERC CIP and ISO / RTO protocols.

• Provide consistent and effective communications with key stakeholders and business partners.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience working in utility industry including 5+ years of experience working in electric utilities
• 5+ years of experience focused on electric utility Operational Technologies

· Expertise in SCADA, ADMS, EMS and GIS

• Well-versed in NERC CIP compliance/regulatory framework
• 5+ years of management experience

· Proven ability to influence and build positive and productive working relationships with all stakeholders to set standards and guidelines related to IT services and operations

• Ability to effect change management as it relates to operational technical systems.
• Proven success in team development, leadership, and influence

· Knowledge of DevOps, product management, and modern IT delivery practices

• Ability to collaborate with various technical groups and build strong relationships with IT and business stakeholders
• Excellent ability to express orally and in writing, professional poise and excellent presentation skills
• Strong team building and management skills
• Ability to interface with all levels of staff and management

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $180,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
