The Director of Marketing takes a hands-on approach in leading Soligent's marketing strategies and programs for B2B audiences focusing on demand generation, sales enablement, and brand awareness. Thriving in a remote, fast-paced, dynamic environment, the Director of Marketing oversees the successful creation, development, and execution of all marketing efforts while leading a team playing an instrumental part in bringing clean, affordable, and modern energy to the world.
Helps Soligent make a positive impact by:
- Reviewing current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies
- Analyzing sales numbers in comparison to the marketing budget in order to find the profit margin and which campaigns were most effective
- Working with both the sales to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and keep current clients
- Collaborating with the executive team to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company
- Creating and maintaining a successful brand and image that attracts customers
- Developing marketing strategies for new products or services
- Generating traffic through proficiency in marketing automation and CRM tools to convert visitors into leads and customers for our sales team.
- Developing and implementing a cohesive marketing strategy including objectives and goals to support growth and increase brand awareness
- Exploring and recommending new initiatives to support department and company objectives
- Driving all Marketing initiatives across the org
- Focusing on effectively increasing margins by balancing objectives of growth and profitability through effective product management
- Managing and completing or delegating spontaneous internal requests alongside marketing plans you propose and implement
- Owning multiple projects at once while maintaining a high level of detail, sense of urgency and ownership to "get it done" by handling timelines with both internal and external partners
- Leading the enhancement of our online presence and website(s) including our E-Commerce platform
- Ensuring Marketing projects meet deadlines and providing clear communications to stakeholders
- Supporting vendor and customer co-selling efforts including management of Marketing Development Funds (MDF)
- Working with suppliers and vendors to maximize partner funding development
- Aligning Marketing events to company strategy
- Conceptualizing and supporting the execution of multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
- Staying current with market trends, product capabilities and changes to our products and services
- Forecasting, drafting, implementing, and overseeing the Marketing department budget
- Communicating with all key stakeholders on changes
- Overseeing content creation and targeted customer strategies
- Aligning with Sales Leadership to drive customer retention initiatives
- Supporting with all other duties as assigned by manager
Location: Remote
Required Skills/Proficiencies: The Director of Marketing must have the following skills:
- 4+ years' of B2B Marketing team management experience
- Experience developing and implementing strategic marketing plans
- Successful experience working with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and vendor partners
- Ability to communicate effectively with partners at all levels, especially senior leadership
- Ability to act as a flexible and innovative team player with a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and a hands-on approach
- Ability to manage time effectively and be focused on setting and executing clear objectives and priorities
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to exercise strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Compensation for this role for a candidate based in Colorado is expected to be between $95,000 - $150,000 and for a candidate in NYC is expected to be between $95,000 - $150,000 plus commissions, but may be higher or lower in other States due to geographic differentials in the labor market.
