What you will do
Reporting to the Executive Director of Graduate and Undergraduate Enrollment, the Director of Graduate Enrollment will be the leading member of the Graduate Enrollment team overseeing the daily enrollment activities for the Graduate School of Business and Leadership and the College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences.
Outcomes
Outcomes and Responsibilities:
- Directly supervises the work of the Graduate Team Enrollment Specialists, based at various locations;
- As an enrolling director, be a leader in personal enrollment productivity and achieve objectives;
- Serves as a key member of the leadership team that develops and executes the recruitment plan using industry best practices at each stage of enrollment funnel to meet new graduate student enrollment expectations;
- Supports the Executive Director and Vice President in managing other projects including, but not limited to, staff development, engagement activities, and other college partners, and process management;
- Develops and assists in the execution of an on-campus and virtual events strategy and represents the University to prospective graduate students, influencers, and key decision makers;
- Working with outreach team members, be involved in all activities with community-based and partnership programs concerning the two graduate colleges;
- Provides professional development opportunities for enrollment staff, creating and executing staff retention strategies;
- Maintains a high level of knowledge regarding the offerings, programs, services etc. of all the Colleges within the institution. In addition, remains continuously knowledgeable, informed, and connected with the process surrounding enrollment;
- Works collaboratively with the University community to ensure a seamless and positive enrollment experience;
- Works on special projects as assigned.
Your Competencies
Competencies, Skills and Qualifications:
Successful candidates will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred
- Have a minimum of five years of admissions/enrollment experience with progressively increasing experience
- Have an excellent work ethic with a can-do attitude and a knack for creative problem solving with analytical and organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Be an inspirational leader who creates team accountability
- Be a team player with empathy, respect for others, a collaborative approach, and a sense of humor
- Be able to work independently on tasks with minimal supervision
- Have a familiarity and comfort with technology and database systems, experience with Salesforce is a plus
