Director of Credit Administration
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Do you have experience in commercial lending management and a strong desire to help customers? If so, we would love to discuss our Credit Senior Manager position!
In this role with our Credit department, you would work closely with the Chief Credit Officer to maintain risk management controls and uphold strong credit quality in our loan portfolio, with a primary focus on the commercial lending segment. You would help direct the growth and development of the Credit team and oversee the department. You would also collaborate with Corporate Banking for presentation of loan requests for approval and work with Senior Management to establish goals and initiate policy changes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Manage commercial lending approvals through underwriting and closing processes; responsible for timely completion of loan offerings for Loan Committee and Board reporting.
§ Manage, coach and counsel staff to meet department goals and achieve performance standards; encourage continuous improvement for career development.
§ Oversee appraisal process for commercial loans including training, reporting, engagement and adherence to all related regulations. Participate on Enterprise Risk Management and ACH Risk Committees.
§ Coordinate Watched Asset process; aid in maintaining integrity of loan rating system. Drive allowance process working with Finance Department to create Allowance for Loan Losses and related reports.
§ Participate actively in your community as noted by Company Community Service Requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certifications:
§ 6+ years of experience in credit and/or commercial lending required
§ 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role required
Skills/Knowledge:
§ Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and delegate
§ Demonstrated analytical skills with sound judgment and decision-making abilities
§ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable communicating with customers, co-workers and management
