Since early 2021, we’ve been importing and selling collectable goods, sourced from various locations throughout the world. This allowed us to build a diverse group of loyal business partners with difference needs and interests. Since mid 2022, we’ve been exporting American made products to our partners overseas for sale in their markets.

Position:

Vanguard Arms is looking to hire for the position of Director of Contract Sales. This position will be responsible for locating and bidding on defense contracts with the DOJ, DOD, DHS, and other agencies. This position is also responsible for growing the department as the need arises.

The ideal candidate would be an individual who has experience locating, bidding on, and filling government contract orders, sourcing the required items, and addressing the required logistics to facilitate a smooth transaction. Prior experience is required.

Duties:

· Locate defense / homeland security contracts

· Brokerage of military goods and defense articles

· Establish relationships with manufacturers and wholesalers of military good and defense articles

· Respond to Sources Sought Notices

· Conduct research on partner companies and agencies

· Prepare and submit bids

Requirements:

· 5 years’ experience in government contracting

· Proficiency with government websites such as eForms, SBA, FPDS, sam.gov, etc.

· Knowledge of the procurement side of the defense industry

· Knowledge of ITAR procedures and regulations

· Ability to work at a computer and talk on the phone throughout the workday

· Past leadership experience

· Knowledge of firearms, military goods, and defense articles

· Comfort handling and manipulating firearms

· Security clearance preferred

· Pass a criminal background check

· Pass a drug test

$80,000 - $180,000 per year
