Job Summary:
Supports and coaches leaders, clinicians, and team members in Patient & Family Centered Care and Patient Experience goals, education, and initiatives. Directs the development and implementation of Person & Family Centered Care principles and concepts in the delivery of patient service throughout the Health System. Responsible for Leadership and Oversight of Patient Relations, Patient Experience, Guest Relations & Volunteers, and Language & Translation Services departments.
Responsibilities:
- Create, implement, and monitor mechanisms for feedback from patients and families
- Oversight of the complaint and grievance mechanisms
- Direct team members in ensuring compliance with Patients’ Rights Conditions of Participation and JCAHO standards
- Maintain and advance Planetree Certification dependent upon internal and external collaborative relationships
- Collect, measure, analyze, and communicate data related to patient experience and prioritize upgrades
- Lead development and implementation of patient experience strategy that supports the organizational mission, values, and strategic plan
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master’ Degree in Healthcare Administration preferred
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience in Healthcare
- CPXP Certification or ability to get certified within first 2 years
- Relevant Regulatory experience and/or understanding
- Knowledge of Planetree Patient and Family Centered Care preferred
