Seeking: Full time and part time direct care workers to provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities in the Smithfield and surrounding areas.

Requirements:

• Must be dependable with a good work ethic.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and safe driving record.
• Must have a valid drivers license and state minimum auto insurance.
• Background checks will be performed on all applicants.

Nice-to-have:

• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.

About Our Company (A Caring Heart Case Management, Inc):

• Our company provides direct care services to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• We provide a variety of different services including day programs, group homes, community services, and more!
• Our direct care staff provides habilitative services aimed at providing care and guidance to our clients to help them learn, retain, and improve their skills!

About This Position (Habilitation Technician):

• All trainings will be provided by A Caring Heart.
• Habilitative services provide instruction to individuals to help them learn, retain, or improve skills for maximal functioning.
• Skill building focuses on self-care, household maintenance, social and communication skills, money management, social and community inclusion, mobility employment, and self-regulation.
• Services will be provided in the home, community and day program.
