We are in need of a Direct Care Worker to provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care services, such as helping with activities of daily living, assisting with medical appointments, and providing emotional support. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and patient demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to individuals with disabilities.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with disabilities.
- Assist with meal preparation and other household tasks.
- Monitor the health and safety of individuals with disabilities.
- Transport individuals to appointments or other activities.
- Provide support for individuals in their community activities.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
