Job Summary

Able to operate high speed digital presses (Ricoh 9110 and 7110/Canon 910). Will be asked to operate Duplo 646 and Bourg booklet maker. Program and prepare jobs for printing, utilizing EFI Command Workstation and EFI JobFlow. Setup, program and run jobs from the print schedule. Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality.

Essential Functions

• Produce printing on a variety of different substrates as needed.
• Assist when available in the finishing process as needed.
• Learn standard setups, perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment.
• Carefully review all aspects of the job and accurately produce high quality products.
• While running any job, the operator will check that the quality of the product is maintained.
• Communicates production delays, and cause of delays.
• All operators are responsible for the general preventive maintenance of the equipment.
• Notifies supervisor of any major incidence of recurring equipment malfunction or poor-quality raw material or production.
• General upkeep of your workspace to include cleaning up the work area during and at the end of shift.

• Willingness to work in a fast paced environment
• Strongly supports management in driving a positive culture where safety, quality, and housekeeping are not compromised.
• Strong ability to work effectively and communicate with associates, management, customers, vendors and others.
• Frequent standing and walking, as well as occasionally stooping, kneeling, reaching and crouching.
• Ability to solve practical problems and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Computer experience is a must, ability to understand complex layout and design aspects.
• Need to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Looking to fill two shifts: 6:30am - 3:30pm
