We are looking for experienced and versatile dietary staff to join our team! Dietary Aides will perform daily and scheduled kitchen/dining tasks such as, but not limited to, preparing and cooking food, washing dishes, delivering food to residents, and assisting the kitchen staff in maintaining a clean, sanitary workplace.

Position Hours:

• 5:00am-1:00pm | Part Time | Off Every Other Weekend
• 10:30am-6:30pm | Part Time | Off Every Other Weekend
• 12:30pm-8:15pm | Part Time | Off Every Other Weekend
• 12:30p-8:30pm | Part Time | Off Every Other Weekend
• 3:00pm-8:30pm | Part Time | Off Every Other Weekend
• 12:00pm-8:30pm | Full Time | PM Supervisor
• 7:00am-3:00pm | Part Time | Off Every Other Weekend

Qualifications:

• Must have reliable transportation and a good attendance record
• Experience in food service preferred
• Experience in dietary services in a long-term care setting preferred
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
• Must have good judgment and initiative

Physical Qualifications:

• Must be able to complete a physical, drug screen, and TB test
• Must be able to stand at least 90% of your shift, frequently reaching, balancing, pushing/pulling, and occasionally crawling
• Must be able to carry at least 50 lbs., and up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Must be able to operate the necessary equipment, using proper body mechanics
• Must be able to perform Range of Motion in both upper extremities, lower extremities, and in your spinal cord

Responsibilities:

• Assist in meal preparation
• Help serve food to residents and staff
• Perform cleaning duties to uphold sanitation guidelines
• Assist with checking and stocking supplies
• Assist in dishwashing duties
• Folding silverware and setting tables/trays
• Ensure accuracy of menu cards and trays
• Other duties assigned
• Employees must meet the attendance and scheduling requirements of their position as an expected and essential duty of the position
