We are seeking skilled providers to do excellent comprehensive dentistry, be a positive impact to the employee culture, and be an amazing person! We’re growing quickly as a group here in Chicago with an active patient base of 40K patients and seeing over 700 new patients per month!

Responsibilities:

• Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes.
• Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities
• Correct bite issues and overcrowding
• Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners
• Prescribe medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics
• Order diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc.
• Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth and mouth
• Keep accurate records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments rendered to them
• Manage positively and openly communicate with other staff members to provide outstanding care to patients
• Other duties as assigned by management
• Appropriately diagnose, tx plan, and diagnose oral disease and oral manifestation of systemic diseases.
• Routinely communicate/follow up with patients whom you’ve provided treatment via telephone or email.
• Manage patient experiences, patient expectations, circumvent negative experiences and create positive outcomes for those experiences.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois state dental license and malpractice insurance
• Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and health care
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics, and thorough tx planning skills.
• Good, positive management skills.
• Strong inter-personal and leadership qualities.
• Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient.
• Implant placement or advanced certification if placing implants or performing any specialty work outside of general dentistry.
• Ability to adapt to Dentologie’s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive criticism and be eager to further enhance your skillset.
