The Fibonacci Dental team is looking for an experienced and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. Licensed Certified Dental Assistants and Radiology Licensure are preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Dental Assistants are expected to greet patients, prepare exam rooms, assist dentist during patient examinations and procedures, take radiographs, and assist hygienist as needed. When not working with patients, the assistant is expected to assist other team members, with administrative tasks, including answering phones and organizing patient records.
Our office is open Monday-Thursday and we treat patients from 7:30-4:00 each day.

Dental Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
· Gather patient information and health background
· Prepare the work area for procedures
· Take radiographs of patients’ teeth
· Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
· Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits
· Restock treatment areas, monitor, and assist in ordering inventory
· Communicate with labs and specialist regarding patient treatment needs
Dental Assistant Requirements and Qualifications
· Dental assistant licensure from an accredited vocational school (preferred)
· 1 + years of dental assisting experience
· Radiograph certification (preferred)
· Current BLS and CPR certification (preferred)
· Understanding of dental hygiene and dental procedures
· Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
