Day Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist Job at Amery Hospital & Clinic
Job Description:
**Sign-on bonus $5,000**
Duties/Responsibilities: The successful candidate will perform and evaluate routing and complex laboratory analysis in support of the medical staff to ensure positive patient outcomes; follow all laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analysis, reporting and maintaining records of patient results; conducts oversight of the quality control and maintenance needed for the area/instruments, ensuring that any deviations are followed up on and documented.
Requirements/Qualifications: Qualified candidates will hold an associate’s degree in Medical Technology from an accredited program and be eligible to sit for ASCP or NCA or AMT registry. Prefer minimum of 1 year experience in a clinic or hospital laboratory; demonstrated keyboarding skill and computer knowledge; previous training and/or usage of EPIC computer system a plus.
