Position Summary:
As the Operations Data Analyst, you will work closely with business leaders across multiple functions to develop and maintain performance metrics and management tools that will drive continuous improvement.
What we want you to accomplish:
· Query electronic ODBC data sources
· Provide statistical expertise towards research projects and conduct data integrity analyses
· Work closely with the operations teams to identify appropriate data sets for analysis
· Partner with Oracle development team to identify data integrity gaps and root cause/corrective actions measures
· Develop and maintain business intelligence reports (Microsoft Power BI)
· Perform validation of programs and analytical datasets to ensure fulfillment of specifications and validity/integrity of results
· Complete requests in a timely manner, meeting appropriate timelines, while ensuring quality standards met
· Establish and maintain communication with study team to keep them updated on status of requests
· Coordinate and consolidate the timely reporting/display of KPI data for the entire plant (Gemba Boards and KPI’s Dashboards)
· Automate data collection process to provide real time data.
· Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
· Serve as one of the primary point of contact for all operational data requests.
· Be able to handle all data requests and be cross trained across all aspects of data management system
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
· Bachelor’s degree required (Operations Research, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science preferred)
· Deep interest and/or experience in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers
· Passionate about work, detail-oriented, analytical, and excellent problem-solving abilities
· Experienced at working with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them
· Driven towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project-management skills, and be able to communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way
· Possess a high level of integrity. Be widely trusted, direct and truthful, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
· Aptitude for framing complex business problems and translating into analyses and recommendations to inform decision-making
· Customer service oriented and ability to partner with individuals at all levels in many different functional areas of the business
· Ability to think creatively, innovatively, and strategically in making recommendations to senior leadership
· Demonstrated ability to execute in an ambiguous environment with competing priorities

· Experience designing and developing data models in environments with incomplete or inconsistent data
· Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with other data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
