Customs Entry Writer CSR (Wood Dale, IL)

Alliance Shippers Inc., is one of North America’s largest privately owned global logistics and transportation service corporations. We are currently seeking an Entry Writer (CSR) to join our Alliance Customs Clearance team at Wood Dale, IL.

Main Responsibilities:

• Process an import shipment from A to Z (Filing ISF's, classifying invoices, transmitting entries to CBP, and setting up delivery orders)
• Review commercial documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Communicate with CBP / PGA's / SSL and customers to resolve any clearance issues
• Perform other general office duties or assist others in the department as needed

Qualifications:

• Computer literate (Excel and email usage are a must; experience and CargoWise a plus)
• High Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to effectively communicate by phone and email
• Customer Service oriented
• Ability to process data quickly and accurately
• Has confidence, is enthusiastic and has a positive attitude
• Displays respectful gestures and courteous manners
• Possesses a stable track record with past jobs
• Dependable and reliable to be on the job and on time every day
