Customer Service Representative

The role of a customer service representative is to provide customer service and administrative support for the Milwaukee industrial sales team.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer purchase orders, back orders, credits, return authorizations, quotations, and other sales-related functions. This may be received directly from the customer or delegated by Account Managers or Account Representatives.
• Take sales orders from customers. Assist customers with product explanations, pricing, availability, and suggest additional/related items that are helpful or required.
• Provide 2nd Level support for the City Desk, which may include answering phones or assisting walk-in customers. Inquiries may relate to technical product and pricing questions.
• Maintain a proficient knowledge of our entire e-business platform. Actively promote our digital tools to customers and provide advanced-level support when needed.

• Excellent time management, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills, listening, written and verbal and ability to follow and provide verbal & written instructions to avoid mistakes or misinterpretations.
• Detail-oriented team player with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment and meets tight deadlines.
• Strong administration skills.
• Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work accurately and continuously learn.
• The ability to work as part of a team.

• Experience in the electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing or construction industries preferred.
• Experience communicating with customers over the phone and via email is preferred
