Overview:
Our Customer Service Representatives in the Member Advocate Department are the face of our resorts’ Vacation Club brand. Because our members are at the heart of everything we do, the ideal candidate for this position will have superior communication skills and a passion to solve problems in a practical and positive manner. We strive to provide a fun and engaging work environment so that we can ensure our customers always receive the highest quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones in a courteous and professional manner to create a positive customer service experience
- Take member payments over the phone for loan and maintenance fees, and enter into financial system
- Make strategically timed calls to members to help enhance the member experience through offering upgraded membership customizations, tracking member feedback and following up on inquiries
- Brainstorm ideas to aid in product development and help engage members
- Write emails and other communications to be distributed to members
- Assist members in booking vacations with our resorts and vacation affiliate
- Collaboratively work with internal departments and properly escalate issues as necessary
- Administrative tasks such as putting together mailings, scanning and filing documents, and other tasks as assigned by the Contracts & Billing Manager
Skills:
- Customer service oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Maintain an upbeat and professional demeanor
- Team player with a willingness to take on different tasks and creatively solve problems
- Ability to interface with various departments and levels of the company
- General computer knowledge and basic mastery of Microsoft Office suite
- Providing information on various products and services
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
Job Type:
- Shift will be 9:30a to 6p after training period
