Position Title: Customer Care Representative I

Department: Inside Sales
Hours: 11:30am - 8:00pm EST

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

As a Customer Care Representative I, you will be a part of our lively and enthusiastic team of professional listeners. Your number one task will be assisting our existing and new customers, in understanding our products and services, placing and servicing orders. You will get to experience a variety of tasks including account creation and cancellation, processing refunds and returns, problem solving and building long-lasting business relationships. WHAT YOU’LL DO (MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Consistently demonstrate the Blueroot Health™ Customer Experience quality framework as you execute customer care duties
  • Consumer (retail) and practitioner (wholesale) account administration, orders, refunds, exchanges, returns, logistics, new practitioner registration, and other customer care management duties
  • Provide high service levels that meets or exceeds the best in class customer experience parameters
  • Responding promptly to customer inquires
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
  • Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer all customer questions
  • Manage conflict with objectivity and professionalism; immediately report escalated issues and follow up at a later point to ensure the customer was adequately served
  • Operate independently within the best-in-class customer service guidelines demonstrating common sense and good judgment
  • Support the sales and marketing group
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures for all role-specific tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED (KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a customer support role
  • Effective communication and listening skills; high emotional intelligence and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to operate independently with good judgment
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset
  • Punctual and reliable in work attendance
  • Comfortable using computers- (MS Office, Customer Care CRM applications (Gorgias), IP phone system and other communications technologies (Zoom, Teams), e-commerce platform for online sales (Shopify). Microsoft Excel and Power Point are beneficial.)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Repetitive tasks such as typing and extended periods of computer screen time
