Customer Service - Inside Sales Representative

Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven track-record of successfully excelling in a fast-paced call center environment and the ability to multi-task while offering our customers the latest information on energy solution trends. Our Customer Success Team members are flexible in the ability to change with the seasons! Qualified candidates seeking full time employment must be available between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends during the winter months (November to April). Part time shifts are also available.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Demonstrate a proven track-record of successfully excelling in a fast-paced call center environment
  • Ability to multitask while offering our customer’s the latest information on energy solution trends
  • Complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Interact with customers and coworkers in a respectful and courteous manner
  • Educate and upsell customers proactively on products and services to enhance the customer experience
  • Maintain customer information respecting confidentiality and use customer information for the context of assigned duties
  • Interact with customers through a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls and emails
  • Listen to customers, understand their needs and requests, and resolve customer issues
  • Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide first call resolution
  • Collaborate with peers and supporting departments to identify and quickly resolve issues.
  • Recommend new ideas and approaches to help achieve best practices and enhance the customer experience
  • Ensure first call resolution through problem solving and effective call handling
  • Provide support to aide in the completion of essential customer focused tasks and projects.
  • Aide in building and promoting a positive team environment that promotes cross functional teamwork

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma (or GED)
  • Experience in a Call Center Environment or equivalent (minimum 1 year)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (MSWord, MSExel, MSOutlook)
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication
  • Available Monday through Friday 8:00 – 5:00 pm with rotating weekends

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Salesforce (helpful but not required)
