Culinary Services Supervisor Job at AICOTA HEALTH CARE CENTER
The Culinary Services Supervisor prepares, seasons and cooks meats, fish, fowl, vegetables, soups, desserts and other main dish foods. The supervisor is responsible ordering, supervising staff, and schedule replacements for the Culinary Services department. In the absence of the Director of Culinary Services, the supervisor is in charge consecutively.
Typical Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ability to meet meal schedules.
- Responsible for handling and preparation of foods per regulations.
- Prepare a variety of foods in large quantities.
- Ability to operate ovens, steam table and other equipment used in food preparation.
- Ability to supervise and work cooperatively with co-workers.
- Replaces staff as needed to ensure consistent care for the residents.
- Responsible for inventory and ordering in absence of the Director.
- All other items as directed by the Director of Culinary Services.
Hours of Work:
The hours of this position will have various start times including 6am and 10am to accommodate the needs of the residents living at Aicota. This position includes working every other weekend.
Pay for experience. All Aicota employees are subject to a background check.
