Job Summary:

Do you want a career that makes a significant impact on someone’s life? Are you ready to step up into a lead role, but still want hands on experience with clients? Then come join our team as a Crisis Stabilization Worker Lead (CSW Lead) where we help people on their worst days.

As a CSW Lead, you’ll provide assistance to the Crisis Facilities Manager and help lead a team of crisis stabilization workers in a 24/7 hour crisis facility who work with clients that are currently experiencing mental health crisis who need to find comfort in a supportive setting. In this setting, staff provide distraction from intrusive thoughts and help individuals work on coping skills that they can take home and use to help keep themselves stable.

As the CSW Lead of the crisis facility, you’ll help the Crisis Facilities Manager in providing a safe and welcoming environment for individuals suffering from a mental health crisis. You’ll be the hands on person with helping mentor staff through difficult situations, providing assistance with operations of the 24/7 crisis facility, coordinating client care, and helping promote WMMHC’s mission, vision and values to ensure the highest quality of client care. No day will look the same and you’ll face many challenges in this position, however, it will also be the hardest job you’ll ever love.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate of Arts or Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred
  • One to three years of work experience in a mental health setting required
  • Ability to pass background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment.
  • Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per Western’s policies.
  • Montana Driver’s License with good driving record
