Crime Scene Evidence Supervisor Job at City of Sebastian
Under general Direction of the Criminal Investigations Division Sergeant, is responsible for supervision of Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) personnel and for performing skilled technical police work in the identifying, collecting and classifying physical evidence to include fingerprints, and performing technical photographic work. Must possess extensive experience in the field of forensics or crime scene investigation. Responsible for the transporting of evidence and property to a secure facility, maintaining records for chain of custody and maintaining the integrity of evidence according to established Florida State Statutes. Incumbent may require appearance in court for formal reporting, questioning and/or testifying with regard to evidence and property collected.
