Residential Construction Crew Leader

Job Summary:

This professional will be responsible for leading a crew of craftspeople working on a variety of projects involving new home construction, home remodels and additions, and commercial building construction. In your work, you will help us comply with all regulated procedures and codes while providing our customers with outstanding finished projects. Objectives of this role:

• Lead residential construction crew in all aspects of construction projects from beginning to end.

• Work with subcontractors as needed.

• Identify and apply appropriate resources to complete duties assigned.

• Execute daily pre-deployment checks of vehicles, equipment, and expendables.

• Safely and responsibly operate vehicles, tools, and equipment.

• Read and apply information from blueprints

• Complete site inspections and provide daily photo and written logs of worked completed.

• Uphold a high standard of safety and cooperation with the team.

• Work collaboratively with other members of the construction team including other crew leaders and project managers.

• Communicate effectively with your crew members and project manager.

• Maintain a high standard of quality in the work you perform by adhering to provided plans and specifications.

• Completion of various other construction related duties as assigned by project leaders.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general equivalent.

• Ability to handle physical labor in a variety of working conditions and weather.

• Experience on residential construction projects.

• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a team environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to interpret blueprints.

• Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Conversational confidence in English and Spanish.

• Familiarity with using a computer base client records management system.
