Position Summary:
- Under general supervision, contact clients with delinquent accounts, initiate appropriate action, and maintain proper records to ensure accounts are promptly collected to reduce the company’s receivable turnover.
- Exercise appreciable discretion and initiative in accomplishing job responsibilities.
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) is strongly preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- On a daily basis, ensure the integrity of the file completion process by gathering and recording contractor credentials in accordance with company policies and client requirements prior to the placement of contractors.
- On a monthly basis, prepare, evaluate, and monitor the following expiration reports:
- Criminal records check.
- Child abuse clearance.
- Liability Insurance.
- License/Certification.
- Certify contractor files for file completion by reviewing credentialing documentation to ensure that it meets the client and the company standards.
