Immediate openings for experienced NCCCO or NCCER certified Crane Operators for industrial construction projects in the Geismar, LA and Plaquemine, LA areas.
Operators will be required to operate 30 ton - 50 ton hydraulic rough terrain cranes.
Job Requirements:
- Current NCCCO or NCCER certification for telescopic boom swing cab cranes.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience operating telescopic boom swing cab cranes.
- Operators must have Industrial crane operating experience and be familiar with industrial safety rules and procedures in refineries, chemical plants, and/or industrial facilities.
- Must pass DISA drug screen, background check, and physical.
- Must have current TWIC.
- OSHA Basic Plus training. (Can be obtained upon hire).
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
- Operate 30 ton - 50 ton hydraulic rough terrain cranes.
- Lift and position structural steel columns, rafters, support beams, bar joist, girts, and purlins for erection crews.
- Lift and set insulated metal wall panels and roof panels.
- Inspect and maintain crane.
- Operate forklifts and/or assist erection crew when crane is not needed.
- Load and unload steel members from trucks.
- Perform daily crane inspections, rigging inspections, and maintenance.
- Assist in critical lift planning.
Per diem and relocation are not available for this position
