Work Schedule and Hours
Primarily Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm. Participate in the after-hours on-call counseling center rotation. Some after-hours programming and activities as needed. Occasional travel to regional and out of are meetings (as needed for training and/or collaboration with other mental health professionals.

Position Summary
Primary responsibilities include providing triage, crisis intervention, and case management services to students. Participation in the on-call counseling center rotation. Additional responsibilities include serving on university committees, consulting with parents/faculty/staff and collaborating with staff, faculty, and community members/agencies. Provide individual and group therapy sessions with students.

Required Education/Experience/Skills
Master’s degree from an accredited graduate program and a current North Carolina counseling license.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills
Preference will be given to candidates with doctorate degree in psychology, counseling, or clinical social work. Licensed in the State of North Carolina. Experience in working with college student population in a healthcare and/or college setting. Certification as a suicide prevention specialist.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrate knowledge in mental health conditions/issues related to college student population, as well as theoretical and practical model of counseling and therapy.
