Camerican imports food products such as frozen and canned fruits, vegetables, seafood, and select specialty items from over 40 countries around the world. Camerican is headquartered in Paramus, NJ, with sales offices across the US.

Camerican is seeking a highly motivated Costing Specialist to work directly with our Sales, Procurement and Logistics teams on the following responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Compile data needed for costing entries in collaboration with internal parties
• Data entry of new costings and pricings in ERP system
• Prepare costing analysis for new business/customer opportunities
• Ensure the accuracy of all costing allocations in the system with supplier price changes and customer charges
• Assists Sales with optimizing margins and profitably through various pricing opportunities and analysis
• Special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, or business-related field
• 3 - 6 years related experience
• Excellent analytical skills
• Keen eye for attention to detail
• Solid communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
• Highly proficient in Excel
• Detail oriented
