Cook Supervisor needed for EVERY/OTHER WEEKEND!
HOURS ARE 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Amberwoods of Farmington is a 130-bed facility providing long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and Memory Care services, located in Farmington, CT. Our facility is conveniently located within proximity to I-84 and is a ten-minute drive to downtown Hartford.
REQUIREMENTS:
- The Cook must be ServeSafe certified.
- The Cook must have an understanding of therapeutic diets, including modified texture diets.
- The Cook must have the ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
- The Cook must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- The Cook must be able to direct staff and supervise effectively and positively.
- The Cook must display excellent customer service skills.
- The Cook must have knowledge of dining service procedures.
- The Cook maintains supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and performs regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
- Candidates must successfully pass a background check
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated and boosted
EXPERIENCE:
One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital or nursing home.
