GENERAL STATEMENT:

Under the Direction of the Deputy Director of Network Integration and Program Compliance, serves as the Requirements Administrator. The Requirements Administrator is responsible for the management of the Civil, Railroad system and Rolling stocks technical Requirements V&V process. The Requirements Administrator provides management of technical requirements and requirements administration services using IBM Rational DOORs. Supports the development and deployment, of the requirements V&V process across the rail program and different procurement contracts. The Requirements Administrator works onsite.

50% (E) Provides requirements management and administration services including:

· Support technical requirement baselining by analyzing the technical standards, Design Criteria, and contracts.

· Capturing technical requirements including importing/exporting requirements from/to Word/Excel including round trips.

· Manually creating and editing objects along creating, retrieving, and comparing baselines.

· Defining, importing, and editing of attributes and attribute types, including inherited attributes

30% (E) Develops and implements IBM Rational DOORs application into the Rail program and provides support to users:

· Creating custom projects, modules, attributes, views, and module archives and restoring them appropriately.

· Developing link strategies, creating link modules and link sets.

20% (E)

· Manages day to day IBM Rational DOORs operation.

· Review databases created by others.

· Administrating user and user group rights

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of: IBM Rational DOORS is a must along with knowledge of MS office suite.

Ability to: Use analytical and problem-solving skills to develop structured methods to identify root causes, create resolution options, evaluate impacts, and implement the selected solution; work in team environment with minor supervision and to conduct oneself in all project and company matters according to approved policies and procedures in a professional manner.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

· Advanced degree in System Engineering, Civil engineering, Railroad System engineering or related field.

· Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on Railroad Infrastructure or system design or construction, or on Rolling stock design, manufacturing, or testing.

· Knowledge on requirements management and administration trough requirement management tools.

· Comfortable in using in MS Word, Excel, Visio, Power Points and Data bases.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED OVER OTHERS:

· None, however, may oversee the work product of others.

· Provide guidance and leadership to team members.

· Inspire your team members, delivery partners, and client to achieve positive and effective Health & Safety processes and procedures for the Program through virtual or in-person format.
