We are a fast-growing company in the design and manufacture of custom embroidered, direct embroidered and screen-printed emblems.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Drive a Continuous Improvement culture with strong collaboration and shared responsibilities among Operations, Sales, Marketing, IT, HR, Accounting and Site Leadership Teams
• Lead and drive Lean transformation and change initiatives
• Facilitate VSM/VSIP, Kaizen events and A3 projects across the organization
• Track,measure, and report progress on improvement opportunities
• Work with team members, at all levels of the organization, to move from being “Firefighters” to “Improvers”
• Train and coach team members and leadership in the elements of Lean
• Facilitate development and review of SW and LSW
• Track and improve Plant/Department lean maturity
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies

Job Requirements:

· 5+ years of experience in leading Lean and/or Continuous Improvement transformations

· BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience

· Lean certification or lean training from recognized source

• Excellent understanding of Lean concepts, including MDI, 5S, Visual Management, VSM/VSIP, Poka-Yoke, Kaizens, A3 problem solving, etc.

· Manufacturing experience

• Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills. Must have people skills to establish relationships with people at all levels in the organization

· Able to travel 50-75%, including international

· Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required

· Must have strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office including but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet design and maintenance, navigating in databases, and creating presentations

· Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently

• Ability to execute with minimal direction and supervision
