The Knowledge Department's mission is to improve client value, efficiency and professional satisfaction by streamlining processes, capturing and leveraging the Firm's knowledge by turning matter data into useful insights, and helping lawyers find documents and information faster.
The Content Management Coordinators (CMCs) will be part of the Knowledge Support Services function that assists the various Groups within the Knowledge Department. The CMC will provide services including data entry, data extraction, data migration, legal technology support and research support.

- Perform data entry, cleanup and housekeeping on various databases and systems (e.g. entering data from hard-copy (pdf) forms into an electronic database)
- Perform data extraction and data migration (e.g. extracting, organizing and moving data from a database to the Firm's iManage document management system)
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of documents in the Firm's and Knowledge Department's collections in various databases, including SharePoint and iManage
- Maintain document repositories
- Assist in updating process documents (e.g. documenting and updating step-by-step instructions, playbooks and process guides for the services delivered by Knowledge Support Services)
- Profile Knowledge documents with metadata to conform with the Firm's content governance policies
- Assist with the administration of various legal technologies (e.g. setting up, adding content to and maintaining client collaboration sites)
- Conduct research (e.g. researching profiles on LinkedIn, finding public documents on corporate websites, etc.).
- Provide administrative support, as needed
Required Experience
- Experience in an office setting
- Understanding of computer networks, databases and libraries
- Advanced experience with MS Office; tech savvy
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to proofread for contextual, grammatical and spelling errors
- Ability to organize, prioritize, plan and multi-task work activities in a high-pressure environment with attention to detail and deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Highly professional in appearance and demeanor
- Willingness to learn
Preferred Experience
- Previous work with a law firm or knowledge department preferred
Required Education
- High School diploma required
- Bachelor's degree preferred

Salary Information
The estimated base salary range for this position is $55k to $65k at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is non-exempt meaning that it is overtime pay eligible.
