Lamont Companies Construction Site Superintendent
Lamont Companies, Inc. (LCI) is looking to hire a Construction Site Superintendent for a hotel renovation project in Rocklin, CA. The Construction Site Superintendent will be responsible for all construction personnel on site, and manage the whole project while reporting back to the corporate office located in South Dakota. The right candidate can qualify for moving assistance. Lodging is covered by LCI for the duration of the project.
Job Responsibilities:
-work with project manager to understand and refine project/scope requirements
-manage all day-to-day work to ensure a successful project.
-maintain a tight schedule to ensure all project milestones are met
-ensure high quality workmanship in all scopes of work
-receive and store deliveries of construction materials. Will need properly inventory all items
-submit daily reports documenting work completed for that day
-submit weekly forecasted schedules
-communicate with hotel GM
Job Requirements:
-ability to read and interpret construction plans
-knowledge of building codes and practices
-ability to manage and work with different trades and understand the timing of related tasks
-strong understanding of OSHA requirements and desire to maintain a safe jobsite
-Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Education and/or Experience:
-5+ years’ experience managing commercial construction projects
-previous Hotel or Multi-Family construction experience
