Construction Site Safety Monitor Job at Gilchrist Safety Solutions, LLC
Gilchrist Safety Solutions is seeking an experienced construction site safety manager for a 6 month contract position with the potential to become full time. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction safety and the candidate will have completed the OSHA 30 Hour Construction Course and have a valid OSHA 30 Hour Construction Card - OSHA 510 or 500 is preferred.. Extensive knowledge of 29 CFR 1926 and EM 385-1-1 is required and the ability to complete all required paperwork and record keeping is mandatory..Candidate swill have experience with infrastructure, trenching, and concrete safety.
Successful candidate shall become familiar with Contractor’s Safety Documents, Guidelines and Procedures.
Candidate shall possess sufficient knowledge of Federal and OSHA Guidelines and Procedures along any other applicable local or state regulatory standards and will maintain the following certifications/qualification throughout the duration of the project: blood borne Pathogens, CPR, and First Aid.
The ideal candidate will be a bi-lingual, fluent in reading, speaking and writing Spanish and English. (bi-lingual is preferred, not required).
Candidate shall collect daily inspection reports from equipment operators to ensure all equipment is in compliance on site.
Candidate must be willing to work hard, be punctual, and have a professional appearance along with very good interpersonal communication skills.

This position is located approximately 15 miles northwest of Gainesville, FL.
