Construction Foreman Job at Rubicon Contractors
This position will entail working on projects alongside the current project manager, managing smaller residential, commercial projects and managing other employees. Some projects will require hands-on work in various areas of construction. During the winter months this position will manage snow plowing operations on several large commercial properties as well. Varying hours of operation may occur in the winter due to snowstorm forecasts.
Foreman Requirements
- Must have at least one-year experience in the trade service considered
- Valid Identification (valid Driver’s License)
- Must have 10 years of experience on apartment remodeling
- Be able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to endure long periods of standing and walking
- Follow the policies and guidelines as set forth by the company.
- Bilingual
Foreman Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduling of Field-Technicians
- Oversee the work of your assigned crew/crews
- Lead Team of Field-Techs to deliver on-time, on budget and high-quality work
- Maintain a clean and safe work site
- Competence in reading plans and construction documents
- Solution oriented, efficient in timeliness and quality
- Ability to work 40 or more hours per week, Monday – Friday and some Saturdays
