As a Concierge Ambassador, you are the first and last person patients and guests see during their hospital visit, which allows you to make a positive first and last impression. Proactively interact with patients, family members, visitors, vendors and staff to ensure that customers have a positive first impression. Under general supervision, the Concierge Ambassador performs a wide range of duties including: transportation from vehicle to building, entrance greeting, escorting to departments, badge retrieval, waiting room oversight, and other support duties as needed - this is where our #hellohumankindess culture shines!

Hours of Operation - (This is a contract position, 6-12 months**)
- Monday to Friday (shifts vary)
- 7:00am - 7:00pm
- 7:00pm - 7:00am
Position Overview
- Greet and welcome patients and guests warmly to the hospital facility
- Assist patients and guests by opening doors, handling luggage, and assisting with entering or exiting the hospital facility
- Operate external transportation vehicle (tram) with focus on assisting patient movement between parking location and various building entrances
- Assists with proper traffic flow in and out of assigned areas
- Anticipate customer needs and concerns, answering questions and taking appropriate action to resolve
- Locates, cleans and maintains wheelchairs for use at the front entrance
- Assist patients out of vehicles and into wheelchairs at entrance, utilizing safe patient handling
- Escort patient and visitors as needed, or assure that patients, family members, visitors, and vendors are directed to the appropriate department without exception
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with all patients, guests, and team members
- Answer patients' or guests' questions regarding medical offices or department locations within the hospital facility
- Oversee waiting room and assisting with visitor registration, prompt communication with providers, adequate comfort amenities (ie: water, tea) and a clean and esthetically pleasing physical environment
- Provide support with discharges – patient and family members transporting to vehicles, carrying belongings as needed
- Knowledge of local hotels, events, venues, restaurants and transportation options
- Contact community resources and other pertinent sources on family’s or patient’s behalf
- Recognize any person who may be in destress or personal trauma, and provide the necessary support
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements
- At least 19 years of age (per company insurance policy)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possesses a valid, in-state driver's license for a minimum of 3 years with a clean record
- Demonstrates basic computer and office equipment skills
- Ability to effectively build relationships with patients, guests, and team members
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; remain professional at all times
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; good time management skills
- Ability to use common sense
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to work in a stationary position, sit or walk for hours at a time
- Ability to lift, push or pull 50-80 pounds
- Must be able to reach above shoulder level, stand, reach below knee level, kneel/squat, bend/twist,
grasp with both hands, position/turn patients, push/pull a wheelchair - May be exposed to all types of weather conditions
- Ability to work as a team member with other employees
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
